About the Lion

The lion (Panthera leo) is one of the most iconic and revered animals on Earth. Known as the "King of the Jungle," lions symbolize strength, courage, royalty, and leadership across cultures worldwide.


They are the second-largest big cat species, with males weighing up to 250 kg (550 lbs) and measuring up to 3 meters (10 feet) in length.
